Episode 2: "Are you comparing yourself to a special needs child?"
The housemates had gathered in the living room to hear the results of the first week's evictions. Dan had been evicted by a vote of 9 to 4, and now it was time to find out the fates of Emma and Lydia.
Porsche: I can now reveal... that by a vote of 7 to 5... the second person to be evicted from the BBPearl house is... EMMA! Emma, it's now time to say your goodbyes. I'm coming to get you!
Lydia: Wow, thank you everyone!
~Lydia Tavera~
OMG, I stayed! Close vote but boring hag Emma - buhbye bitch! Well, whoever voted against me... be afraid!
All of the housemates were shocked that Lydia had survived her nomination... even those that had voted to keep her!
~Sarah Hrejsa~
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG LYDIOT STAYED!!!!
FREAKING OUT Y'ALL!!
Oh, did I do that? Yeah, I'm actually fucking STOKED that she stayed! She's a complete pawn and she's someone who will target people not named me. I didn't think she'd stay, but as I said, I'm very happy she stayed, especially by a 7-5 vote count, because I told everyone but Lydia I wasn't keeping her, so most people count me in that number, but in reality I did keep her. Everyone seems to believe me, although of course it's possible they're all lying, but they seem to be legit.
~Michelle Maradie~
THAT WAS HILARIOUS!
Like who would have thought that I'd be shocked at a vote so early? Mostly because I was in the majority! Like WHAT! So many people were all anti-Lydia that it's so funny that she made it through this. What's even funnier is that Sarah and I were probably the swing votes. Or at least that's the theory I'm going with. WOW!
~Ragan Fox~
Lydia stayed, Lydia....she...stayed! WTF! Are you serious? Like people actually wanted to keep her? YAY!!!!!!!!!! This is the best eviction ever.
I just wish I could have had a camera on Aislut's face when Porsche read the votes, like just the shock factor. And on top of this Dan leaving, I would love to see Sophie's boner go down (or the lack their of).
Best case...BEST CASE. I am just so happy!
~April Lewis~
I am beyond happy with the eviction results! I am absolutely stoked that Lydia stayed... because a) she stirs up the pot, and is a hot mess... which means people will want her nominated more than me (hopefully) b) I actually have spoken to Lydia quite a bit, and she has promised me she won't nominate me... and with Emma, I hardly spoke to her at all and she would have most likely nominated me and c) it was unexpected for a lot of people and really just kind of threw a grenade into the middle of things! I'm so happy, and I love Lydia! And I'm super happy that Dan got voted out as well.
Aisleyne and Lydia's other detractors, however, did not find Lydia's surprise survival to be very amusing.
~Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace~
The fact that Lydia is still in this game is honestly beyond me and if she doesn't leave this week I'll be so fucking annoyed.
~Aaron Allard-Morgan~
I couldn't believe it. I mean who would keep that troll? Lydia ended up staying! UGH! It sucked because I could of benefitted well with Emma staying. With Lydia staying I have to keep a fake smile on my face because she could be a vote I need in the future. So I wanted to figure out who voted for who. Sophie, James, Drew, Jen all told me they were evicting Lydia. Michelle comes to me and tell me she evicted Emma because she thought Lydia was going. Seriously?! WTF! I was about to blow up on Michelle but I was able to hold myself together. I couldn't believe this bitch fucked it up for me! UGH!
~James Rhine~
I am absolutely PH-ISSED! Lydia needs to be out of this house. Emma never had a fighting chance, and these morons decided to keep Lydia, the crazy, kook who confuses her pubes for tattoos. Is this a joke? Like are you kidding me? Watching Emma walk out the front door really frustrates me. This should have been a 6-6 vote with Aisleyne breaking the tie, and SOMEBODY re-nigged and evicted Emma. I cannot deal with this dumb broad in the house for another week. Having to put on a facade, and acting like I'm in kahoots with her, when really she annoys the shit out of me. Her brain is made of 100% air, and conversing with her is less exciting than talking with a steel wall. It's time to go out and do an HoH. I will win, and I will get one of those seven dumb asses out of the house this week if it's the last thing I do.
~Sarah Hrejsa~
So, obviously The PFHMS alliance is all like "OMG WHY IS LYDIOT STILL HERE FREAKING OUT Y'ALL" while I'm sitting there literally bawling my eyes out because I'm laughing so hard! Why are you having a conniption over someone so utterly useless?
Sophie was another housemate unhappy about the first week's results. She had been on the losing side of both evictions.
~Sophie Reade~
I'm not happy about a lot of things. First off what the fuck is with people telling me Lydia would go and then she stays with a lot of votes. This obviously puts me in a really odd spot. I'm not only blindsided but in minority and a lot of people are bullshitting me. It's a very bad spot to be in right now. I've tried reaching out to people but everyone keeps acting surprised about Lydia staying. So for now I kind of give up on it.
On another note Dan is gone. Not surprised. Whatever, time to move on. I tried telling him to campaign and everything but he didn't seem to care. No loss I guess.
With Lydia's confidence built up from surviving the eviction, she decided to confront Sophie.
Lydia: I heard that you hated me.
Sophie: How come?
Lydia: I don't know some, people said you didn't like me.
Sophie: You and your rumors, you're such a wreck.
Lydia: I know but people said that you hated me. Is this true?
Sophie: I do, I think you're a trainwreck.
Lydia: Wait, you would put me up if you were HoH?
Sophie: Maybe.
Lydia: What did I do to you Sophie!?
Sophie: You're just all over the place. It kind of irritates me.
Lydia: You’re fake.
Sophie: How am I fake?
Lydia: You acted nice to me and you hate me.
Sophie: I don't hate you but you’re confronting me, you need to shut the fuck up. Go ahead and start a rumor about me. Don't fuck with me bitch. Consider it a threat.
Lydia: Please!? I'm not effin with you!
Sophie: You confront me with rumors.
Lydia: No you admitted it, so they were facts.
Sophie: You're mentally unstable. Simple as that.
Lydia: No! I'm done with this bullshit.
Sophie: Go ahead and quit then.
Lydia: No I'm done with your bullshit. Bye!
Sophie: Bye bitch. Game is fucking on. You crossed the wrong bitch.
Lydia: Ok whatever.
~Lydia Tavera~
Wow! Fake bitch Sophie says I'm a trainwreck!? Bitch, I will see you hang!
While Sophie may have made one enemy, she was also in the process of making another ally.
Sophie: Well, I think it's evident my "winner" status is threatening to players. I kind of have an idea of what I have to do from now in order to knock out those who threaten my game.
James: The thing about you though is at least from my perspective I know I wouldn't want to nominate you because A) I'd want to work with you, B) I don't want a target C) I love you!
Sophie: To be honest I do like you. And I have this feeling that you're a strong player. I like to work with strong people. My allies are usually strong players. I like competition.
James: I know!
Sophie: But as of now I have to re-think my strategy because some of these players who are threats are coming to get me.
James: Right now I think your safety net is social game.
Sophie: I think social game can only carry me some ways, not far enough.
James: Well, I can tell you if I win HoH you're 100% safe.
~Sophie Reade~
So I've been taking my time to talk to people. James is one of the I talk to the most. We're on the works on some kind of alliance. Like I trust him somewhat but he could easily be pokerfacing me. This players are probably very tough.
~James Rhine~
I've honestly been apprehensive with Sophie, but I've learned we're very similar players, so I have a side deal with Sophie, and I will not put her up or backdoor her. That's PFHMS job when another one of them gets HoH. I really understand where Sophie is coming from and she understands people are out to get her. I'd like to work with her for now, and be on her side. Is she a Vet, yes, but she's the only Vet that has a brain, and I'd rather have 4 idiots against me than 1 good player.
James shares the news of his deal with the other members of the PFHMS alliance.
James: Attention Sluts, I made a deal with Sophie! If she wins I can influence her nominations. That's really all.
Aisleyne: I trust Sophie too :-!
But this announcement only plays on the already growing trust issues within the alliance.
~Brian Hart~
I feel like Sarah and I are becoming very close. We opened up to each other. We feel that James and Aisleyne are keeping things from us, like them possibly working with Sophie. This would cause UBER tension, and possibly wreck the alliance.
~Sarah Hrejsa~
On Brian's front, his stock rose significantly today, because he has similar views on James and Aisleyne and trusted me enough to open up to me about his concerns. He feels Aisleyne/Sophie have a deal (I'm 99.9% sure they do), and he feels James is spreading himself too thin and involved with them somehow(as do I), so I have reason to believe he trusts me a lot, since he divulged this to me, so if I had to pick someone right now whose safety is my #1 priority, it would be Brian's due to our mutual caution when it comes to our allies Aisleyne and James.
Porsche calls the housemates to the backyard to compete in the second HoH competition. As outgoing HoH, Aisleyne is unable to compete.
~Ragan Fox~
Although winning HOH is great, I don't want to have too much on my hands making enemies and such...so if I don't get it, great. I mean if I do get nominated I can veto myself, make alliances etc...I feel safe, and why make enemies...so I wouldn't be sad if I didn't get it. But if I did...look out Michelle and Aaron....maybe even Sophie and Aisleyne...too soon? We will just have to see MUAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!
Porsche: This competition is called Memory Wall. One at a time, you'll be called to the backyard to compete in private. You'll see a replica of the Memory Wall, but the pictures on it will be mixed up and distorted, making them harder to identify. The housemate who correctly identifies all 15 pictures in the fastest time will be the new HoH.
One by one, the housemates come out to compete with varying results.
~Brian Hart~
MY TIME FOR THIS COMPETITION WAS AMAZING! I GOT IT PERFECT! NOBODY BETTER BEAT ME. Lydia was the hardest, by far. IT'S MY HOH AND I WANT IT NOW! Normally these comps scare me, but this was rather easy. My only concern is that it will be easy for other people also. I am proud of my score. I want that HoH Key! I'm sick and tired of 2nd place.
~Sophie Reade~
Finally Head of Household is here and it just so happens it's something that I'm amazing at. ♥ Morphed memory wall pictures is so my thing. I took my time to prepare myself and I nailed my time with 29 seconds. I feel like I could have cut so much more time from my time but I tried my hardest regardless.
Once everyone's had their turn, Porsche announces the results.
Porsche: With a time of 29 seconds... the second HoH of BBPearl is... Sophie! Aisleyne, please pass over the HoH key.
Dino: Damn, nice time Sophie!! Congrats =]
April: Congratulations Sophie, that is an incredible time!
~Michelle Maradie~
What the hell? I thought Ragan's time was impressive at 49 but damn, Sophie kicked serious ass. Now I'm like... crap, Sophie's HOH. I think I trash talked her boobs and her personality a lot last week off screen and now she's HOH. I feel like this is going to be a bad week for the newbies.
Now I have to hope that she doesn't decide to nominate me, that's going to be hell in a hand basket for sure. At least I'll be able to compete in the veto though. Haha, There's always a bright side.
~Brian Hart~
WOW. I did WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY WORSE than I thought. And Sophie is HoH. Not surprised, she's great at distortions. TIME TO KISS ASS! It's scary having someone I don't trust HoH. I just want this week OVER WITH.
Instantly, some housemates knew they were in trouble.
~April Lewis~
Oh my goodness, I feel like I have bipolar disorder... I went from a manic state when Lydia stayed in the house to now a depressed state because Sophie won HoH. Ugh! I seriously need some mood stabilizers to keep me sane.
If I had won HoH... Sophie would have been one of my nominees so this is worst case scenario. I can't stand Sophie, and now she is in charge of the house... ugh! *Rolls Eyes* I really believe that Lydia and I will be nominated, and I hope that I'm surprised. She will nominate Lydia because I guess they had a feud earlier before the HoH results were cast, and because Lydia hasn't been the most active player, and she will nominate me because we have not spoken very much and she can play it off like she is just being fair. This is terrible... and the anxiety of waiting for nominations is killing me.
~Aaron Allard-Morgan~
So Sophie ended up winning, which scared the shit out of me. I talk to Sophie but I am after this girl and now I am afraid I might of said something to people about me targetting her. I am super paranoid right now! I made a fake deal with her that if she keeps me safe she will be safe if I win. I do not plan to keep that promise. Sophie is a huge threat that needs to be out ASAP! Thankfully though I know Sophie and Lydia got into it before the HOH results. Lydia keeps pissing off the HOHs, she is great at this game!
~Lydia Tavera~
Sophie won. Going up again and buh bye Lydia.
Sophie just needs to quit! She's calling me all these names and it's retarded. Stupid whore. You lost and you don't deserve to come back, plastic ugly ass hoe.
Meanwhile, James felt safe for the week due to his recent deal with Sophie, but was disappointed in his alliance. Brian had thought he had performed brilliantly in the competition, but finished with a time of 2:30. Sarah, meanwhile, was leaps and bounds behind the rest of the housemates, with a time of 7:54.
~James Rhine~
If anyone was going to win HoH, I'm glad it was Sophie, at least for now, I know I'm safe and that I can probably keep the PFHMS safe. Considering she did this challenge in 29 seconds though is unbeliveable. I'm really starting to feel she WILL need to be a person to backdoor. I'm on her good side for now and that's all that counts. As for the other aspects of the HoH, PFHMS FAILED. How do Briguy and Sarah get 8th and 9th? Is that a joke? OMFG, of course I'm in an alliance with people that are going to absolutely suck. At least it's going to be easy to take them to the end.
The next day, it's time for the first Have/Have Not competition. Each week the housemates are required to compete for the privilege of being a Have. Those unlucky housemates on Have Not restrictions are forced to eat slop, endure sleep in the Have Not bedroom, and receive a disadvantage in the PoV competition.
Kalia: Today's competition is called Majority Rules. You'll be asked a series of questions about your housemates. But don't answer with your personal opinion... answer with what you think the majority will say. Each time you're in the majority, you'll earn a point. The four housemates with the least points after six questions will be Have Nots for the week.
The house votes...
-split decision as to whether Dino or Ragan was more entertaining in their original season
-9 to 3 that Jen deserves to be in the game more than Lydia
-9 to 3 that Michelle is a better blonde than April
-8 to 4 that James would look better in a speedo than Drew
-9 to 3 that Aisleyne has a cooler accent than Aaron
-9 to 3 that Sarah is more likely to lose this competition than Brian
Kalia: With 1 point, Lydia finished in last and will be a Have Not this week. Aaron, Drew, Jen, Ragan and April all tied for the next lowest position with 3 points, and will all be Have Nots this week as well.
~Sarah Hrejsa~
We have a Have/Have-Not Competition where I am comically awarded the title of "Most likely to lose this competition", and what do I do? I come out with a perfect score!
BOW DOWN TO SARAH HREJSA BITCHES...OH wait it was Majority Rules, nothing to celebrate about. Oh well I don't win comps enough so I always celebrate in an overzealous manner when I do well at them.
The housemates are shown the Have Not room, which is essentially a dungeon. It also features wallpaper of Allison Grodner happily chowing down on a bowl of slop, and a poster of some disgusting underwater creature.
~Aaron Allard-Morgan~
UGH! I do not want to be a have not at all! When I saw the room I wanted to cry. When I saw the wallpaper we had I wanted to die! The poster is extremely disgusting! Everytime I looked at it I was going to throw up! Also I have very sensitive eyes and that horrible picture of that lady eating slop did not help me at all!
I also had my first nightmare in the house! I swear no joke, so I have been having a sore throat lately and in my dream I was at the doctors checking it out and the lady put a camera down my throat to see whats wrong and I swear fucking mushrooms were growing in my throat!!! OMG! It was so scary! This have not wallpaper is ruining my sleep!
It was almost time for the nomination ceremony, and April decided to have a talk with the HoH, Sophie.
April: So I know you already probably have a good idea of what you're doing this week… so I figure I'd skip the usual sucking up that people do in games and just ask if you’re leaning towards nominating me?
Sophie: Why, are you paranoid?
April: Slightly. Haha. It's hard not to be paranoid in Big Brother… but this week, I'm ever more so just because I know we have not spoken that much. But I don't want to sit here and be fake with you, and be like oh my gosh Sophie congratulations! And pull all the BS that I've seen in other seasons… I mean, congratulations on winning HoH that is sincere… but I hope you know what I mean.
Sophie: You've told people that you and Lydia are going on the block like if you know what I'm doing. I find it laughable.
April: I have not told people that. I have said I think that.
Sophie: It's the same as telling them.
April: Anyone that said I told them is bending the truth a little.
Sophie: I mean I don't even know where you get these conclusions from. I thought we were in good terms so far and that we had good conversations but then you said that and I was kind of taken back.
April: Well we have not spoken a lot, so maybe it's my paranoia getting the best of me. I obviously don't know what you’re doing but based on my paranoia and what Lydia has told me that's gone on between the two of you, I wouldn't have been surprised if we were the nominees. So, am I going to be nominated because I assumed I was going to be nominated? Or are you still thinking about it?
Sophie: I don't know what I'm doing yet. I was kind of irritated though that you would assume who is going up without any sort of knowledge. Like I am a very easygoing person and you could have just talked to me first. Because now people expect you and Lydia to go up no matter what.
April: Weird, I'm pretty sure I only said that to two people. I guess everyone was taking what I said and spreading it around.
Sophie: Mhm. It went to everyone.
April: Well I'm sorry if what I said puts you in a position that you’re uncomfortable with. And I never questioned your character, I just had assumed… wrongfully so maybe, that you were closer with other people in the game than I. Wow. People are such gossips.
It was time for Sophie to name her two nominees. The housemates gathered in the kitchen to hear her decision.
~April Lewis~
I was talking to Lydia and she said that if we were nominated against each other that she would sacrifice herself for my benefit in the game, which is so incredibly generous and kind but I could never ask anyone to do that for me. I really enjoy Lydia's company in the game... so I hope there is some possibility of getting out of this week alive with Ragan, Lydia, and I still all together though my optimism is wavering on that matter.
Please Sophie Please Sophie Please Sophie Nominate Drew Instead Of Lydia And I Together! *Crosses Fingers*
~Ragan Fox~
I just hope that April stays safe, that's the only person I am praying stays safe this week. April is my final two lover, and I just can't have her getting nominated now, can I?
~Sophie Reade~
Nominations are pretty simple. None of these girls are a threat to me right now and I don't think this will hurt me down the road. All I have to do is make sure I win that Power of Veto. Keep my nominations the same unless something unnatural happens for me to switch things around.
Sophie: I've nominated April & Lydia. I think this is what everyone expected. I guess I'll go for a predictable move. Good luck.
~Dino Delic~
I kind of persuaded Sophie from making a big move... I feel like we are not being targeted as "the vets" right now, but if she were to make a big move to attempt to take out the big guns, we'd be starting a war which we may not be able to handle. Hopefully we can skate by a couple more weeks before the war begins just so we can narrow down their numbers a bit more...
~Sophie Reade~
So after debating over and over my nominations. I settled with April & Lydia. April put me on the spotlight this week by telling people she knew she would go up along with Lydia. So people were already expecting this set of nominees. I debated this over and over for such a long time. At the end of the day I thought, going with the safest bet right now is the right thing. I'm not sure where most people stand and a lot of people are pretty active compared to them so I have no option other than just to go with what the cast think is "inactive" and "worthless" otherwise I might be raising some eyebrows from my fellow houseguests and make myself look shady.
The nominees were not surprised, but upset nonetheless.
~Lydia Tavera~
Shocker, I'm nominated!
I honestly have the suckiest luck. I'm up on the block with BFF April and am a have not.
~April Lewis~
Surprise Surprise! I'm nominated against Lydia... I had a strong feeling I would be, and someone who I told... probably Dino that I think Lydia and I will be the nominee's told Sophie so she tried to play it off like I'm only doing what you expected April. Oh my gosh, I was being nice to her when we were talking... but in reality I really wanted to punch her in the chest and pop one of her implants. Ugh! She makes me so mad... she thinks she is so sly and manipulative but then doesn't even have the guts to tell me why I'm really nominated, she wants to play it off like it's all my fault because I assumed I was going to be nominated, eff that! Game On Sophie!
Anyways, since being nominated Drew, Michelle, and Aaron have all said that I have their votes. And Drew even went as far as to say that he would use the Veto on me if he won it, and that I was one of the nicest people in the game! I hope he's not lying, because that is sooooo nice of him. And Lydia has already said that she would throw herself under the bus in order for me to stay in the game... so we shall see what happens.
It's soon time for the PoV drawings. Drew, Jen and Brian are randomly selected to compete. That means that all of the veto players besides Sophie and Brian are Have Nots, and will have a disadvantage in the competition.
Jen: OH MY GOSH! I'm gonna play for Veto for, like, the first time ever! <3
~Brian Hart~
I'm playing in the veto for a second week in a row! Plus, FOUR of the SIX players have a DISADVANTAGE!
Like, OH MY GOSH, how luckier can I get? I hope I can win it, and NOT get ANOTHER second place.
~April Lewis~
I'm really not that worried, but you can never be certain in this game. Ahh... maybe I am just a little worried. Haha. But I think I have Michelle, Drew, Aaron, James, Ragan, and Jen and that would be enough... but of course I won't stop there and will try to get everyone! ;D
But now... it's Game On Sophie!
The six veto players gather in the backyard to hear the rules of the competition.
Porsche: This competition is called Building Blocks. You must stack a tower of blocks as high as possible. Once you have stacked your tower, you must also unstack it one block at a time to qualify your score. But be careful! This competition is all about avoiding errors. If your tower falls over at any time, you will be disqualified. In addition, have nots will be slowed down in this competition. You may only stack a maximum of two blocks per minute, or you will be disqualified. The housemate who stacks and unstacks the highest tower will win the power of veto!
~James Rhine~
The competition starts, and the first thing I see if Lydia's fake platinum hair start throwing the blocks OUT of her box.
Are you kidding me!? I'm DYING to play in a Veto Comp, and this silly wench, who's nominated for the second week in a row, has the audacity to basically disqualify herself from the competition, yet she expects everyone to vote to keep her this week? This is absolutely ridiculous. I am PISSED. Can we please just evict her now. I'm so over this three year old.
The housemates spend hours creating the perfect towers...
~Brian Hart~
Not gonna lie, this veto....is boring. Plus, I lost a lot of time. Hopefully people can mess up. I'm aiming for 100.
And it's not long before another housemate bites the dust.
~James Rhine~
I'm shocked Jen's managed to get about 20 stacked and all of a sudden, they all come tumbling down. Clearly she didn't take any care when she stacked her blocks, but at least her performance was better than my expectation for her.
The housemates have 24 hours to build their towers, so most of them go to bed, but April stays up to try to take the lead. Unfortunately, she hits a stroke of bad luck. The battery in the kitchen clock dies, leaving April with no way to tell the current time. As a result, she accidentally stacks three blocks in a minute, thus breaking the Have Not rules and disqualifying her from the competition. Enraged, April storms off to the Diary Room to complain. Kalia, one of the show's executive producers and co-hosts, speaks to her.
Kalia: April, could you please explain your problem with the PoV Competition?
April: I stacked three blocks in the same minute. I didn’t mean to, but the clock died and I thought it was the next minute. Please let me know what I can do, I really don’t want to be disqualified and wanted to let you know immediately.
Kalia: You’re disqualified.
April: So then why am I disqualified for something that is not my fault?
Kalia: Because it wouldn’t be fair to make an exception. How would it be fair to everyone else?
April: The clock died, not my fault, and I’m being punished.
Kalia: Well as I’ve been saying, it wouldn’t be fair to others if we made an exception in this case.
April: Make an exception for everyone that is having the same issue. It might happen again or has already happened.
Kalia: We plan on making no exceptions.
April: But the clock died.
Kalia: We’re treating everyone equally and it’s fair.
April: And then being unfair to me.
Kalia: How is it being unfair to you? If it happens to other people, they’ll be disqualified too, which is the definition of fairness.
April: Because the clock died and I’m being singled out. I’m being proactive and coming to you. I’m being singled out. This is the same thing as an earthquake happening in California and a cop saw a driver go off the road due to the earthquake and gave them a ticket for failure to control the vehicle. It just wouldn’t happen, even if they were the only person on the road that went off the road. Not taking into consideration that no one else was on the road at that time of course though.
Kalia: Well that made up story is a lot more farcical than what happened just now. The fact that you’re comparing the competition to a life threatening situation is a bit exaggerated.
April: I don’t think so. I know people who have attempted suicide from reality TV shows. A life threatening situation is a life threatening situation no matter what you think is important. I still think it’s unfair. If you break a law because of another situation, you don’t get in trouble. If you are in a natural disaster and you fail to control your vehicle, you do not get a citation.
Kalia: This is nowhere near a natural disaster.
April: If you are being shot at and you fail to control your vehicle, you do not get a citation. It’s the same logic. I did something when there were other factors that made me do it. I didn’t purposefully do it, I didn’t do it ignorantly, it was an error on the game’s part, not my part.
Kalia: I’m not saying you did it purposefully.
April: But I’m being punished for it.
Kalia: And so will others if it happens to them. The rules are that if you stack three or more blocks in the same minute you are disqualified.
April: This is the same as sending a special needs child to hell even though they don’t know the difference between right and wrong.
Kalia: Are you comparing yourself to a special needs child?
April: I want to talk to Porsche because this is bull crap. Seriously, this is unfair.
Kalia: You’re not being sent to hell.
April: I’m being punished. Same thing.
Kalia: This is a lot less severe than being sent to hell.
April: It’s still a punishment. Right or wrong? I’m being punished, right or wrong?
Kalia: According to the rules, you were wrong.
April: Technically I was not. The clock died. I’m being punished for something I did not do, plain and simple.
Kalia: You did do it and that’s what we have to go off of in this case.
April: This game is biased against me.
Kalia: It’s not biased against you. You made a mistake, the rules outlined everything.
April: I did not make a mistake, the clock did. The clock made a mistake, I did not. If it was Sophie you would believe her. You are portraying me to be worse at Competitions than I actually am.
Seeing that she was not able to calm April down, Kalia called in the other producer and co-host, Porsche. By now, April had turned the majority of her anger towards Kalia.
April: I'm contacting CBS. Kalia made fun of people who commit suicide. CBS will take that very seriously.
Porsche: April, I've reviewed the tapes and Kalia never said anything derogatory of that nature.
Porsche suggests that April gets a good night's rest to try to ease her mind. By the next morning, April had calmed down from her meltdown the previous night.
~April Lewis~
Ugh, this week sucks! Seriously...
1) Sophie wins HoH
2) I'm nominated
3) I'm a have not
4) I get disqualified from the veto competition
5) I feel guilty for my spat with Kailia...
*I could go on for ages... ugh!
I'm sooo upset about getting disqualified from the veto, I was prepared to build a tower of 700 blocks. I was mentally ready... but due to some "obstacles" I was not able to do so. I really wanted Veto, so that I can prove myself as a competitor and so that I could save myself, because even though just about everyone has told me that I'm safe this week... I still want to guarantee that!
While the past 24 hours had been eventful and dramatic within the confines of the Diary Room, the other housemates had no idea that any conflict involving April had occurred. Therefore, there was nothing of interest for them until the results of the PoV competition...
Porsche: With a successfully stacked and unstacked tower of 350 blocks... congratulations, Sophie! You have won the Power of Veto!
~Sophie Reade~
Power of Veto was tough. It took a lot of effort and energy for me to win it. But I was SO determined. When results come in, it turns out nobody even tried that hard. So I'm thinking to myself that if this is how the game is going to go for now there's no point in me doing so good in competitions but at the same time my performances will scare people into thinking that it's not easy to take me out right now so hopefully the upcoming Head of Households won't even dare touch me for now.
The housemates were generally pleased with Sophie's victory, as they knew it likely meant that the nominations would not be changed.

Yes!!!! Sophie wins the PoV! All the power remains in the PFHMS hands for yet another week. While Sophie isn't a member, she clearly holds the same beliefs that we do. So to have her win this Veto is very crucial. Had anyone aside from Brian won it, who knows what would have happened. Anyways, The PoV ceremony will be tomorrow, and then I will get to evict Lydiot. She's been in this house 11 days too long.
At the veto ceremony, everything goes according to plan.
Sophie: I am not using the veto. At the same time I'd like to plead to the house that when you cast your vote think out of respect for April. Lydia has not been active and hasn't competed. There's no point in keeping dead weight. If we are all truly competitors and want to win against the best then Lydia is definitely the person that has to go this week. There's nothing more irritating than worthless houseguests. Good luck with your decisions. And good luck April.
Going into the voting, April was feeling confident.
~April Lewis~
Sarah, Drew, Jen, Aaron, Michelle, Ragan, and Brian have all told me that I have their votes 100% against Lydia. And James and Aisleyne have displayed strong negative feelings towards Lydia, so I feel pretty confident in staying this week... but you can never be 100% sure. The only thing I can do now is to keep talking to people and keep forming bonds. I'm really starting not to like Sophie, James, and Dino at all... ugh! Everyone else seems super nice! ;D
And April was right to feel confident. Unlike last week, no one was rallying to save Lydia.
~Sarah Hrejsa~
Sophie wins PoV and predictably does not use it, and she, like Aisleyne, if their alliance wasn't already obvious, campaigned for Lydia to leave in public, and this time I think the diva duo will get their wish. Aisleyne, James, Brian, Aaron, and Drew are definitely evicting Lydia, and Sophie's 6th tiebreaking vote would make the difference. I'd consider keeping Lydiot again, but if I double cross my alliance a second time, I think people will start connecting the dots.
Therefore, this week I will be evicting Lydia from the house, because April likes me a lot I feel, and would keep me safe for a long period of time. Additionally, if Lydia doesn't stay, or does and I again tip the scales, my alliance, which consists of very powerful individuals whom I do not want to combat on my own right now, will start realizing that I'm the liar making them all point fingers at one another.

I vote to evict Lydia. Honestly, it's probably smarter for me to keep you, but I gave my word to Aisleyne and Sophie that I'd target you, and I want to live up to that because I appreciate them keeping me off the block. Even if I go home next round, I guess I kind of go out with that sense of integrity.
~James Rhine~
I vote to evict Lydiass!
You SUCK at this game. You never listened to a word I said, and you never competed. You just ran around and complained about both HoH's being bitches which is the exact opposite of what you should be doing after someone wins HoH. Keeping you around at this point is like raising a child that isn't your own. It's awkward, it's a bitch, and it's a pain in the ass.
On eviction night, the housemates gather in the living room to find out which nominee will be leaving the house.
~April Lewis~
Well, well, well... it's judgement time. I really am hoping to get no votes against me... although that'd be a miracle because I'm sure I've made someone mad along my Big Brother journey thus far. And honestly, even if I get votes against me... I'm more hoping to just survive the eviction in general. If I can't, that's super sad because Lydia seems to not be trying at all!
Porsche: Big Brother house, this is Porsche. You are live on BBPearl! The votes have been counted and verified, and I can now reveal... that by a vote of 10 to 0... the third person to be evicted from the BBPearl house is... LYDIA! Lydia, it's now time to say your goodbyes. I'm coming to get you!
Aisleyne: Haaaaaa finally. Don't let the door hit you on the way out
Sophie's HoH reign had come and gone... and so had Lydia. With twelve housemates still remaining in the BBPearl house, no one could predict what was to come.
