Episode 7: "If the shoe fits."
Remaining Duos
Chima & Eric
Ivette & Will
Chima & Eric
Ivette & Will
The nine remaining housemates were gathered in the living room. It was time for either Janelle or Will to become the first member of the jury.
Estelle: Big Brother house, this is Estelle! You are live on BBCharm! The house has decided. The votes have been counted and verified, and I can now reveal... that by a vote of 6-0... the sixth person to be evicted from the BBCharm house and the first member of the jury is... JANELLE! Janelle, it's now time to say your goodbyes. I'm coming to get you!
~Will Kirby~
[Ivette’s Partner]
Looks like I'm still here. Staying calm and being friendly works. I know Elissa and Helen HATED voting to keep me, but they might as well done it since I know their real intentions. When I win HOH what will they do? Whatcha gon do girl??
~Helen Kim~
Janelle's eviction was unanimous and unsurprising. I'm sad to see her go, because I do think she would have been more loyal to me in the end, however she was frankly not worth campaigning over.
~Gina Rio~
I was so happy to see Janelle leave and walk out that front door. Thank god. Don't let the door hit your fat ass on the way out! That girl was a heifer in every sense. She was thirsty. All she wanted was attention. Janelle was probably the worst person in this entire house and I'm glad to see her leave. Maybe now we can stop pulling strands of polyester hair from the shower drains. It's disgusting. If I even make the end of this game and I have to vye for her vote .. she can kiss my fine, black bum. I don't want her vote. I don't care. I would never, ever kiss up to her for anything. She's garbage. Rubbish. Her being in this game was a joke. She deserves to be on the Pre-Jury.
Eenie, meenie, miney, moe. You ain't nothing but a hoe. You think you're cute, you think you're classy .. newsflash girl, you're fucking nasty. Checkmate, you evil bitch. Ta!
The housemates know they don't have much time before they'll have to compete in yet another HoH Competition. Gina peeks through the window to the backyard, and sees that a graveyard set is being constructed for the competition.
~Gina Rio~
I've had no problems in this game when it comes to figuring out what the next challenges could possibly be. I'm usually spot on, and that's a good little skill to have. I can anticipate what's to come and prepare myself. However, since I can't play in this week's Head of Household, it's all about preparing people I want to see win.
Gina: HoH is probably quotes from evicted housemates. Hence the whole Big Brother "Graveyard" theme.
Ivette: I know how Janelle speaks, that's distinctive.
Gina: Just know, Sallie is sassy. Her DR will be sassy. Gary's will be kinda the same, but obnoxious. Boogie will sound like he knows all, like a smartass.
~Gina Rio~
I managed to go more in-depth with the girl I find to be my closest ally, Ivette. Ivette winning would do wonders for my game this week. I know that she would keep me completely safe, and that's exactly what I'd want.
~Ivette Corredero~
[Will’s Partner]
Gina is going to support me. The way she speaks to me, she sounds like she's truly closest with me. I don't want to go to the end with her, but turning on her will probably be very messy.
When Big Brother calls the housemates to the backyard to compete, they quickly find out that Gina's predictions on the "Graveyard" theme were exactly right!
Ryan: Gina, as outgoing HoH, you are ineligible to compete. This competition is called Ghosts of Housemates Past. You'll all start off with three lives! In each round, I'll read you a quote that an evicted housemate said in the Diary Room. You must write down which housemate you think said the quote, and how many lives you want to bet! If you ever reach zero lives, you'll be eliminated from the competition! The housemate with the most lives after eight quotes will become the new Head of Household!
~Gina Rio~
Before the challenge, I quickly filled Ivette in on what I thought the challenge would be like and also give her a few pointers on the past "characters" we've come to know, love, and hate. She seemed pretty informed and ready for the challenge. The best part? I was right! The challenge was based exactly on what I thought it would be, and I knew that Ivette was going to be more than prepared against the other housemates in the competition.
When the competition began, Helen took an early lead as a result of risking more lives in her bets than the other housemates. But the tides quickly turn! Starting with a Janelle quote that only Ivette is able to identify, Ivette begins to get question after question right, as her fellow housemates fall out of the running one by one.
Ryan: With a total of 12 lives... Congratulations, Ivette! You has survived the Big Brother Graveyard and will now rule the living as the new Head of Household!
~Gina Rio~
I literally screamed at the top of my lungs when I saw Ivette deemed the winner and new Head of Household. It's an easy week for me in the house, and it lets me breathe easy! I was more than happy to put the key around her neck and pass off my reign to her. I know that Ivette will target the likes of Sam and Eric, and that's fine with me.
And Ivette wasn't the only housemate guaranteed safety as a result of her efforts...
Ryan: Congratulations to Will as well! You are Ivette's partner, and in accordance with the duo rules, you cannot be nominated this week!
~Will Kirby~
[Ivette’s Partner]
Good news in the BB Charm house, Will is safe. I am estatic and I don't have to worry about leaving. Almost as good as if I had won HOH myself. With Ivette as HOH though I don't know what she will do. She is a mystery to me and I think that this week will shed light on her long term plans. She can either go after Elissa/Helen/Gina (the big personalities) or Eric/Sam/Chima (the others). I'd wish she'd go for the girls, but you just don't know with her. I'm excited to see what will go down.
Meanwhile, Ivette knew that she was taking a risk in winning HoH, as until now, she had done an excellent job of keeping all targets off her back.
~Ivette Corredero~
[Will’s Partner]
Welp, the game is about to get stickier for me. It's probably in my best interest that, until the Final 3 or 4, this is the last HOH I win.
I want Sam out this week. I have no place for him in my game. He's very under the radar, yet he's a legitimate competitor every time he shows up, and that scares me.
The other women in the house felt secure with Ivette in power, but still were curious to know who her target would be.
~Chima Simone~
[Eric’s Partner]
AS SOON AS IVETTE WON HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD I WAS YELLING YASSSSS OMGGG YASSSSS OMG YASSSS OVER AND OVER IN MY HEAD KNOWING MY CHANCES OF GOING ON THE BLOCK ARE REALLY SLIM. I THINK I CAN TRUST IVETTE TO A GOOD EXTENT FOR NOW.
Chima: SO WHAT ARE YOU THINKING FOR NOMS?
Ivette: I want Sam out. He's so under the radar. I don't know where he stands.
Chima: YES, I KNOW! AGAINST WHO?
Ivette: I just don't know who I can use as a pawn. I promised Elissa I wouldn't use her.
Chima: PROMISE IT AIN'T ME TOO.
Ivette: I know you're his partner, so please don't freak out, but I think Eric would be the best pawn, because I doubt he'd freak out at me. He'd understand, right? I really want Sam to go.
Chima: AS LONG AS IT AIN'T ME!
Ivette: Okay then.
Chima: BUT IF I WIN VETO, I NEED TO USE IT. I DON'T WANT TO END UP IN A FIGHT WITH HIM YOU KNOW!
Ivette: Of course.
~Chima Simone~
[Eric’s Partner]
IF IVETTE'S GOING AFTER SAM, THIS IS A GOOD MOVE, BUT BAD AT THE SAME TIME, IT'S LIKE A TOSS UP. IT IS TRUE THAT GUY REALLY IS WAY TOO MUCH UNDER THE RADAR AND BESIDES KNOWING THAT HE'S IN GINA'S BACKPOCKET, I KNOW NOTHING ELSE ABOUT HIS GAME! I THINK NOT KNOWING WHERE SOMEONE STANDS IS A NUISANCE. WE'LL SEE!
BUT ALSO, IT SHOWS WHO SHE'S ALIGNED WITH. SHE'S VERY CLOSE TO ELISSA & GINA. WITH HELEN TOO. AND SHE'S DEFINITELY ON GOOD TERMS WITH WILL. SO THAT LEFT ERIC & SAM FOR HER.
It's almost time for Ivette to make her nominations, but the fact that she cannot nominate Will poses a problem for the future; if a nominee gets off the block, she'll have to choose one of the women as the replacement nominee.
~Gina Rio~
I know that Ivette will target the likes of Sam and Eric, and that's fine with me. Sam has proven to be shady and ultimately useless and Eric is nothing more than a wildcard. I would do just fine without either of them in the house. The real question is, what is Ivette going to do if one of the boys comes down off the block? Who will be her replacement? Messy, messy. Things will sure get complicated in the house.
Gina: Have you thought about what you'll do if Sam or Eric win Veto?
Ivette: It's gotta be Chima or Elissa. Hopefully they understand, but I don't have another boy to nominate.
Gina: If Chima plays, do you think she'll remove Eric?
Ivette: That's part of why I'm leaning towards Chima. She flat out told me she would. So if she wins veto, it's Elissa, full stop. But if one of the noms wins veto, I wanna split up Eric and Chima.
Gina: My worry is, will Eric going up anger Chima?
Ivette: She said, "as long as it ain't me."
~Ivette Corredero~
[Will’s Partner]
I've really tried to spend today getting much closer to Helen, and somewhat closer to Elissa and Chima, because I'm going to need them. Unfortunately, if POV is used, one of Elissa or Chima is going up, so that will be messy.
The status of the two remaining duos of Eric & Chima and Will & Ivette was certainly posing a serious problem to the other housemates. There were now two duos left in the final eight, and if any of them made it to the final three, they would automatically advance to the finale.
~Ivette Corredero~
[Will’s Partner]
Will is an asset and a hazard that I myself really can't do anything about. I can't nominate him, so I'm taking him into the final 7 with me, so I really need to try to keep the voters pro-Ivette.
~Will Kirby~
[Ivette’s Partner]
There is hope and I am keeping it to myself. Ivette and I chatted and we were on the same exact page about our duo status. Whether or not we wanted to go to the end with each other, people are going to try to get rid of us soon by nominating both of us. In order to delay that, we need to keep Chima/Eric here as a buffer. Ivette is worried that next week they could turn on us and evict us to be the only duo left, but I don't think they would. At least not next week. Final 6 would be the time. That's when we should strike that blow. Looks like one of the girls (if not more) may be going on the block this week.
But Will was wrong about one of the girls going on the block. At the nomination ceremony, Ivette stuck to her plan and placed two men on the chopping block.
Ivette: I'm nominating you, Sam, because you've done a masterful job of staying off everybody's radar. I'm not even remotely sure where the hell you stand. You're easily playing the best game here, so you'll need to win veto and make an enemy or two if you want to stay off the block. And I'm nominating you, Eric, because it's almost the end of the game and you still have your original partner. I speak with Chima much more than you, so it seems unfair to place her on the block when she's made more of an effort. This meeting is adjourned.
~Sam Wallace~
Makes sense no one would nominate me. I've been very low key this game for a reason. The less drama you create, the more under the radar you will become, and the targets immediately go to someone else...until this round.
So yeah my strategy this entire game has been to remain under the radar, avoid any conflicts, and just play it cool, kind of like I'm invisible. It has worked considering strong characters like Boogie, Gary & Janelle have been evicted.
~Helen Kim~
I knew that Eric and Sam were going up as I knew that Sam was a big target in Ivette's mind. And she's right; he's so under the radar that he can float himself right to the end. It's smart to get him out of the way, but I think it's even smarter to go after the duo of Chima and Eric.
~Gina Rio~
When the nominations played out, I already knew what was going down. Ivette and I have been talking a great deal this week, so I knew what she was thinking. Both of them being on the block doesn't really effect my game in any way. I feel that Eric wouldn't come for me anyways if he were to stay, as I think he would go for Elissa and Ivette mainly. Why do I think this? Because all the boys have hinted it at one point or another. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some sort of boys agreement to stick together, seeing that they're a dwindling sex in the house. As for Sam, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't still upset with him. He never fussed up to not evicting Boogie, and led me to believe he did. If he were to leave? Bye boy, bye.
~Will Kirby~
[Ivette’s Partner]
This nomination ceremony is whack. Eric and Sam on the block. Ivette, what a waste of a HOH if you get rid of Sam. You need blood on your hands. Get some on there by kicking Elissa/Helen to the curb. I know I need some, but Gina's been making me work just to survive these past few weeks. I just want a guy to win this game (namely me), is that too much to ask? Why is this always about vagina power? What's wrong with this series?
It's time for the PoV Drawings! As the numbers in the house are dwindling, only two housemates will not compete this week. Helen and Chima are randomly drawn from the bag, will Eric gets the Housemate's Choice chip.
Eric: I'm going to choose Will to play.
This meant Gina and Elissa would be the only housemates not to compete in the PoV Competition. In Ivette's HoH Room, she expressed her frustration with the PoV Drawings with her ally, Gina.
Ivette: Chima is gonna be playing in veto.
Gina: This is awful. Aaaand Eric drawing HG Choice? Of course he picked Will. We're screwed. Worst case scenario happened.
Ivette: Yeah, but I mean, if it's the right competition, I could win.
Gina: It's all up to you to win it.
~Ivette Corredero~
[Will’s Partner]
Mother fucker, I'm starting to become pissed about this HOH now that the veto draw went pretty much the worst way possible.
Helen, who is the only person who I can really trust to play to keep the noms the same is a have not.
Chima will probably be my biggest competition in this veto. If veto is used, either Chima or Elissa go up. Chima would go up if she doesn't win veto, but I really don't want to have to do that. However, Sam hasn't won a comp, but he's been competitive. The only upside is he's been my stated target, and the only scenario in which he comes off the block is if he wins veto.
~Gina Rio~
I'm pretty sure the worst case scenario played out during the Power of Veto drawings. Basically, everyone from the "other side" of the house was picked to play, and Elissa and I are sitting on the sidelines. Of 'course Helen is playing, and she has the penalty of being a Have-Not. This means, it's literally up to Ivette to win it. I think Ivette can win it if she really tries, but she's up against some tough people. She'll be going against Eric and Will who have both won a past Power of Veto, and then she'll also be facing off against Chima. Chima winning the challenge is ultimately the worst of the worst, because she told Ivette that she would take Eric off the block, which would mean that Ivette would have to nominate Helen, Elissa, or myself. Ugh! That would be poor. Very poor. This partner twist is deeply annoying, because she could have stuck Will on the block, but he's immune because he and Ivette are "partners" in the game right now.
And despite the fact that Ivette had declared Sam to be her target, it seemed as if the tides may be turning.
Ivette: I also really like Chima, but I don't know if she's with us AND Eric or if she's with Eric and co.
Gina: I want Chima to lose Eric. Then she will more than likely be with you and I completely.
Ivette: If you voted out Eric, I'd turn a blind idea. Let's just see post-veto.
Gina: Alright.
~Ivette Corredero~
[Will’s Partner]
I've been having second thoughts about Sam being my primary target...
Splitting up Chima and Eric, at Eric's expense, really might benefit me more. Sam has no one.
Even though she was considering getting rid of him, Ivette kept up the charade with Eric that he was completely safe.
Ivette: Good luck! You deserve the right to save yourself if you can.
Eric: I'm a have not... I don't think I'll do very well.
Ivette: I mean, I want you to be part of this plan, but the reality is I did it by gambling with your life.
Eric: I know, I mean you had to do it, I'm going to try the veto but I am sure I will not win. The have not disadvantage is pretty hard to overcome.
Ivette: Well, it depends on the comp.
~Ivette Corredero~
[Will’s Partner]
Eric doesn't seem completely sold, but I did my best to spin my nomination into making him feel like part of the plan. That way it either backfires and I'm more likely to get a jury vote I would otherwise stand no chance of getting, or he comes back into the game and doesn't come after me with a vengeance.
After he returns to the Sneaker Room, Eric pleads with his partner Chima to try her hardest to win the veto.
Eric: PLEASE SAVE ME!
Chima: I'll do my best!
Eric: I really hope you win this one.
~Chima Simone~
[Eric’s Partner]
IF I WIN THIS VETO, THIS SHOULD GIVE ME MORE POWER OVER THE EVICTION, SO IT IS CRUCIAL FOR ME TO WIN IT. I DIDN'T FEEL THE NEED TO WIN COMPETITIONS FOR A WHILE NOW SO I NEED TO BE MENTALLY READY FOR THIS COMPETITION AND WIN IT.
Big Brother announced that in the morning, the housemates will visit Big Brother's Art Gallery to compete for the PoV. The housemates speculate that they'll have to identify BBCharm housemates in the artwork, and Chima spends the whole night sitting in the kitchen and staring at the Memory Wall.
~Chima Simone~
[Eric’s Partner]
I KNOW MY STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES MORE THAN ANYONE CAN KNOW THEIR OWN ONES. I KNOW FOR A FACT... THAT I SUUUUUCK AT RECOGNIZING PEOPLE BY THEIR FACE, I'M SO HORRIBLE THAT SOMETIMES I CAN ENCOUNTER SOMEONE I KNOW... THEY RECOGNIZE ME, AND I'M LIKE... WHO'S THAT PERSON? UNTIL THEY SAY THEIR NAME AND I GO: AH! GOT IT! HOWEVER, I HAVE A KILLER SKILL AT MEMORY. THERE IS A NAME IN SWEDEN: "Brfxxccxxmnpcccclllmmnprxvclmnckssqlbb11116". I ONCE TRIED, JUST FOR THE HELL OF IT, TO MEMORIZE THAT NAME. THE NEXT MORNING, I COULD SPELL THAT NAME PERFECTLY. MY WHOLE POINT IS... IF I SUCK AT RECOGNIZING FACES, THEN I'M GOING TO ANALYSE EACH PICTURE OF EVERYONE, AND MEMORIZE A LIST OF THEIR SPECIAL TRAITS!
*CHIMA WHISPERING ALONE IN THE NIGHT LOOKING AT THE MEMORY WALL.*
HELEN, CHINESE... PETE, GLASSES... CHIMA & GARY... BLACK MALE AND FEMALE, IVETTE... TAN, BOOGIE, CAP... GINA & JANELLE & SALLIE ARE BLONDES. ELISSA HAS A FLOWER.. SAM IS BALD... WILL HAS A ... VAMPIRE FACE. ALEC HAS A FACE WITH THE FORM OF A CUCUMBER. *LAUGHS OUTLOUD IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.* CUCUMBER MAN!
When the housemates gather in the backyard the next morning, they see that the competition is exactly what they expect!
Ryan: This competition is called Artistic Interpretations! Big Brother has just finished his first 16 abstract paintings! Each of the 16 paintings has been inspired by a BBCharm housemate. When your time begins, you'll have to identify all of the paintings as quickly as possible. The housemate who identifies the most paintings correctly in the fastest amount of time will win the Power of Veto!
~Will Kirby~
[Ivette’s Partner]
This veto competition is going to be interesting. I don't want the nominations to stay the same, but I don't want Chima going up. Best case senario is that Chima wins, saves Eric and then Chima/Eric evict the replacement and hopefully the other voters do too. Not being able to vote this week due to a punishment from last week's PoV competition is proving to be very hindering, especially when allies are in danger.
~Helen Kim~
When I was picked for the veto, I knew that I had to win it. Chima winning would be the worst case scenario, as the nominee would then have to be someone in our alliance.
~Sam Wallace~
I really hope I win this veto...I need to WIN something damm it. If I don't, I hate to say it, but I might be evicted.
The competition begins, and the housemates run to all corners of the art gallery! The key is to identify the most paintings correctly, but in the case of a tie, the fastest housemate will win. Sam speeds through the competition and locks in his answers after just five minutes.
~Sam Wallace~
I just finished the POV competition. That was HARD hahah but it was fun, the adrenaline definitely kicked in. I think I got all right, and in a good time!
One by one, the other housemates finish at a somewhat slower pace.
~Chima Simone~
[Eric’s Partner]
THAT COMPETITION WAS TOUGH! I FOUND MYSELF CLIMBING TO LOOK AT THE PICTURE UPSIDE DOWN... CRAWLING ON THE GROUND TO SEE A NEW SHADE OF THE PICTURE BY LOOKING AT IT ON ANOTHER ANGLE, SERIOUSLY MY KNEES HURT RIGHT NOW MORE THAN ANY OTHER PARTS OF THE BODY! SOME PAINTINGS LOOKED LIKE WOMEN BUT THEN WHEN LOOKING AT THEM ON A CERTAIN ANGLE, THEY WOULD TURN INTO A GUY I COMPLETELY RECOGNIZE, BUT EITHER WAY, IT WAS A FUN COMPETITION!
Eric is last to buzz in with his answers, and it's then time to reveal the results.
Ryan: Only one housemate achieved a perfect score! With that said... congratulations, Chima! You have won the Power of Veto!
~Chima Simone~
[Eric’s Partner]
MUAHAHAHAHA! I NAILED A PERFECT SCORE! PERFECT!!!!! *SHOWS THE POWER OF VETO TO THE SCREEN*
~Gina Rio~
Chima just won the Power of Veto. *Sighs loudly, and crosses her arms. This is dreadful, truly dreadful. This is the worst thing to happen. Now, Chima will undoubtedly remove her partner, Eric, from the block, and that means that Helen or Elissa will have to go on the block. This makes things messy.
~Ivette Corredero~
[Will’s Partner]
Welp, Chima is gonna take Eric off. Sam is gone this week, but hopefully Elissa doesn't flip her shit at being the replacement.
At least I'm getting someone out, because everybody has to go at some point, but I just don't want to draw anybody's ire here. I could very well get it from all sides after this.
~Will Kirby~
[Ivette’s Partner]
Chima won the veto and I couldn't be happier. She's going to save Eric and Helen/Elissa/Gina will be the replacement. I want the replacement gone. If Helen gets nominated, I think Gina/Eric/Chima will evict her. If Gina gets nominated, I think Elissa/Eric/Chima will evict her. If Elissa gets nominated, I think Gina/Eric/Chima will evict her, though I'm not sure on Gina's vote. I don't want the vote to tie cause Ivette will evict Sam.
In the Casino Room, Gina and Helen discuss the inconvenience of Chima winning the veto.
Helen: This is totally the worst case possible.
Gina: It's horrible.
Helen: Elissa has to go up. But no matter what, if me and you vote Sam, he goes.
Gina: I have yours and Elissa's backs. I'd evict Sam.
Helen: I'm wary of Chima. I still don't trust her.
Gina: Ditto. I see her evicting Elissa. I'm sure there's a Eric/Chima/Will alliance.
Helen: Will can't vote which is PHENOMENAL.
Will could not vote as a result of a punishment from a previous PoV Competition. Therefore, Gina's and Helen's votes would be enough to tie the vote at the very least. However, nominating Elissa would lead to other concerns.
~Gina Rio~
If Elissa were to go up, I can see her getting upset and then possibly wanting to go after Ivette next round, which would put me in danger since neither myself or Ivette can compete next week. We can't be losing allies and allowing Chima and Eric to gain an upperhand.
Helen: You think it'll be smart for me to go up as a pawn? So Elissa does not freak out? Elissa would not evict me.
Gina: I think that could work.
Helen: It would cover our alliance well.
Gina: Only if you're comfortable.
Helen: It's a risk, but a good move.
~Gina Rio~
Helen was trying to confirm with me, that if Elissa would go up, that I'd keep Elissa in. I said yes, of 'course. Why would I straight to her face tell her I'd evict Elissa? Especially since Ivette hasn't named the replacement nominee, which was going to happen given Chima winning. But then, the conversation took an odd turn. Helen straight out pitched the idea that she instead go up, to avoid Elissa getting upset. Interesting, very interesting. Someone's confident.
It's not long before Helen approaches Ivette with her plan to be used as a pawn.
Helen: I'd hate to volunteer as the pawn and go home, but Elissa won't evict me. I'll do it.
Ivette: Are you serious?
Helen: Yes.
Ivette: I really don't worry for you. Gina and Elissa have got you.
Helen: I know. I trust them.
~Helen Kim~
Elissa was originally going to go up as the replacement, but I wanted to make her feel welcome and a crucial part of the alliance so I offered myself up as the pawn. I know that I definitely have Gina and Elissa's votes so I'm safe no matter what, but it should be interesting to see how Chima and Eric vote. This vote will definitely show where people's loyalties lie.
Unfortunately for Helen, she may not be as safe as a pawn as she thinks she is...
Ivette: Helen is offering herself up to me as the replacement.
Gina: I think it's a good idea, however, my issue is, Helen will play both sides with this. She'll try and use it as a way to bond with the other side, and be like "UGH! Ivette nominated me too! BOND!?"
~Gina Rio~
While it's a good decision because it would dodge Elissa's temper tantrum, I still see two problems with it. One being, Helen could easily play this off to Chima, Eric, and Will and be like, "Ivette nominated me too! Ugh! Let's bond over it!" The second thing is .. well, I'd be super tempted to just vote Helen out. Let's be honest here, Helen is a social threat in her own right, and ultimately a very likable player left in the game. Sitting in the end next to her is suicide.
Chima is the next housemate to visit the HoH Room, and she isn't particularly happy when she hears about the change of plans.
Chima: WHO WERE YOU THINKING FOR REPLACEMENT?
Ivette: I was gonna do Elissa, but now Helen is offering herself to me.
~Chima Simone~
[Eric’s Partner]
WHEN I HEARD THIS I THOUGHT... NO SHIT! NOT HELEN VS. SAM!!! ON MY CHAIN OF CHOP HERE, CHOP THERE, I FEEL LIKE ELISSA GOING HOME BEFORE ANYBODY ELSE WOULD IMPROVE MY GAME. SHE'S SITTING IN A POSITION I DON'T LIKE SEEN FROM MY ANGLE, AND WE'RE NOT SO CLOSE. IF IT IS ME AND ERIC SITTING NEXT TO EACH OTHER, WHICH IS SOON GOING TO HAPPEN, THEN SHE WILL VOTE FOR ME TO GO OVER ERIC. HELEN WOULD PROBABLY VOTE FOR ME TO STAY, SAME WOULD SAM. SO I DON'T WANT HELEN TO GO UP...
After Chima hears that Helen has volunteered to be a pawn, she goes to talk to her. But Helen doesn't know that Ivette told Chima the plan...
Chima: WHO YOU THINK SHOULD GO UP?
Helen: Honestly, I'm scared. I try to be Ivette's friend and stuff but we rarely talk game. I bet it's me or Elissa.
Chima: OH. WELL IF YOU THINK IT'S YOU OR ELISSA THEN CONVINCE HER ELISSA IS BEST TO SIT NEXT TO SAM I GUESS.
Helen: Like, I don't think Ivette's going to put me up, but in the back of my mind I feel like she is. A gut feeling, you know?
Chima: FOLLOW YOUR GUT!
Helen: Yeah, I dunno. I might just be paranoid.
~Chima Simone~
[Eric’s Partner]
HELEN IS REALLY SKETCHY. SHE SUGGESTED TO BE A PAWN TO IVETTE, THEN IVETTE HAS A BIG MOUTH AND TELLS ME, AND NOW HELEN IS ACTING LIKE SHE HAS NO IDEA WHAT'S ABOUT TO GO DOWN.
Chima: I HOPE YOU DON'T GO UP THOUGH, IF SAM HAS FRIENDS THAT COULD BE DANGEROUS!
Helen: Will can't vote this round, though. If I have your vote and Elissa's vote, then I should be good. I might be able to get Gina's vote, too.
~Chima Simone~
[Eric’s Partner]
I THINK HELEN IS A LITTLE BIT TOO STUBBORN. WHAT SHE DOESN'T REALIZE IS IF SHE GOES UP MY WORDS TO HER DON'T MEAN SHIT IN A GAME LIKE THIS. I COULD VERY WELL FLIP FLOP AND GO AFTER HER. I SERIOUSLY DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO YET? AND GINA DOESN'T EVEN TRUST YOU, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? YOU COULD GO 3-1 DO YOU REALIZE THAT? BIG BROTHER'S GOLDEN RULE OF THUMB IS YOU DO NOTTTTT ASK TO BE A PAWN.
It's the morning of the PoV Ceremony, and right before it's set to begin, Chima runs up to the HoH Room to let Ivette know that she can't guarantee she'd keep Helen safe.
Chima: BY THE WAY, I DON'T KNOW ANYMORE HOW I FEEL ABOUT HELEN STAYING... SHE WAS KIND OF SKETCHY TO ME THE OTHER NIGHT. YOU TOLD ME SHE OFFERED TO GO UP... AND THEN WHEN I TALK TO HER SHE ACTS LIKE SHE'S SCARED OF YOU AND THAT SHE DOESN'T REALLY KNOW WHAT'S UP, YOU KNOW? THAT WAS REALLY SHADY. I DON'T KNOW YET IF I'M 100% VOTING HER BUT I MIGHT.
~Chima Simone~
[Eric’s Partner]
I'M COVERING TWO FIELDS: IT COULD CONVINCE HER TO PUT SOMEBODY ELSE UP, LIKE ELISSA FOR INSTANCE, WHO WAS HER FIRST IDEA. AND IF SHE DOES NOT, THEN IF I DECIDE TO VOTE AGAINST HELEN, THEN SHE CAN'T SAY BUT WTF YOU TOLD ME YOU WOULD VOTE SAM AND NOW YOU'RE NOT? UM NO, I TOLD YOU THAT BEFORE YOU MADE THAT DECISION. DAH DAH DAHHHHH!
But despite Chima's concerns, the ceremony goes as planned.
Chima: I HAVE DECIDED TO USE THE POWER OF VETO ON... ERIC! IVETTE, AS HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD, YOU NEED TO PUT UP A REPLACEMENT NOMINEE!
Ivette: Helen is going up in Eric's place.
~Chima Simone~
[Eric’s Partner]
IVETTE HAS DECIDED TO PUT HELEN UP. OKAY, WHATEVER. I ALREADY TOLD IVETTE I MIGHT VOTE HELEN SO SHE CAN'T SAY SHE'S SURPRISED IN ANY WAYS. I TOLD SAM I WOULD KEEP HIM, WILL I? I DON'T KNOW. I'M STILL WEIGHING OPTIONS, BECAUSE I WANT TO SEE WHO BETWEEN THE TWO WILL HELP MY GAME THE BEST.
Sam knew that Will, Eric and Chima would all consider keeping him in the house. But Will was unable to vote, meaning that in order to survive, he'd have to find a third vote elsewhere.
~Sam Wallace~
So four people will vote, I need 3 votes stay. If there's a tie, I'm screwed cause Ivette will evict me. I mean it was pretty clear in her explanations in the Nomination Ceremony that I was the main target.
I already have Eric's, I need to get Chima's and Gina's. There is no way Elissa will vote to keep me, she and Ivette apparently are together.
~Will Kirby~
[Ivette’s Partner]
What a scary eviction this is. Gina has the all the power. Chima/Eric seem down with evicting Helen, but since we know Ivette is set on sending Sam home we need 3 votes. Elissa won't budge, so it's all on Gina. I wish I could vote so badly...I can't handle the stress of leaving evictions in the hands of these people...
Chima and Eric were interested in evicting Helen, but would only do it if they knew they had the votes.
~Eric Stein~
[Chima’s Partner]
I do not want Sam to go... this is a perfect opportunity to take out Helen but STUPID Will, can't vote this round. If he could, boom- we'd have 3 votes Helen and she'd be on her way out the door with Sam in gratitude for us. If it backfires however, Helen is after us. It really all depends on Gina... and evidently, I have not asked Chima yet either, but I think she'd want to get rid of Helen.
Chima: WHO ARE YOU VOTING BETWEEN SAM & HELEN?
Eric: I want Helen gone, but I don't want to tie.
Chima: I AM INTERESTED IN VOTING HELEN, BUT BEFORE ANYTHING I WANT TO MAKE SURE THE DECISION IS RIGHT.
~Eric Stein~
[Chima’s Partner]
It's important we vote with Gina. It would be awful if Chima and I voted Helen and Gina, Ivette, Helen and Elissa are suddenly a foursome. If we get rid of Helen we have a foursome with Sam.
I really hope that Gina is an ally and not a foe.
Eric approaches Gina in the storage room to attempt to get a read on what she's going to do.
Eric: What are you feeling about the vote?
Gina: I could go either way.
Eric: I want to side with the majority, that is for sure.
Gina: I'll let you know how I'm voting before the eviction.
~Gina Rio~
It's really rather comical when people you hardly ever speak to, come up to you, because they need something from you. It's transparent. Eric comes out of nowhere and starts trying to see where my head is at with the vote. I'll admit, before, I was tempted to evict Helen just because I know she's a huge end game threat, but the fact that the house is beginning to obviously divide right down the middle, I know that Helen is needed.
I don't ever talk to Eric, so I don't trust him, and I don't want to play alongside him, so I won't be doing what helps him.
In the Casino Room, Sam begins his campaign to Gina. But Gina still hasn't forgotten about her first reign as HoH, when she asked Sam to evict Boogie, and he went against his promise to her.
Sam: Is there any way I can count on your vote to stay?
Gina: When I was trying to count on your vote in my first HoH to evict Boogie, I know that you kept him. That vote was a lot closer than it should have been and it could have screwed me over.
Sam: I know that round was a little uncalled for on my part and I do apologize, but Boogie was one of the few people I trusted in this game. Yeah he voted against Nick, but Janelle didn't even talk to me about why I should keep her.
Gina: You straight up told me that I could count on you and your vote.
~Sam Wallace~
WOAH! Gina just threw me a giant curveball. So I was talking to her, trying to get her vote to stay, and she starts ranting about how I told her she could count on me and she trusted me 100% but then I lied to her and voted to keep Boogie (which is all true) but I mean, Boogie was gonna go either way, and I had promised Boogie that I was gonna vote to keep him despite the fact he was gonna go.
I'm not upset that Gina told me she was mad or something, like I would've expected it. I'm pissed off because....how many rounds ago was this vote? Like almost FOUR rounds ago? Say 3 weeks. Come on! It's a different game right now, I never expected Gary or Janelle to go before me, or Sallie to disappear, things happen.
Sam: Yes I didn't own up to my vote that round, but I was just so paranoid over everything that happened.
Gina: Are you trying to justify it to me right now? Seriously? Really? I was just upset. That's all I'm saying. If you weren't serious about trying to help me, then you shouldn't have told me I can count on your vote. Which is why I'm not going to commit to you and tell you, you can count on MY vote, because I'm not even sure what I'm doing.
~Gina Rio~
There was a point in time where I would have kept Sam instantly over Helen, but that time has come and gone. Sam had the nerve to actually come up to me and ask me if he could "count on" my vote? Hm, this sounds familiar, Big Brother. Let's flashback to my first Head of Household reign, shall we? Boogie and I had a public argument and were clearly against one another. Sam, someone I thought I could count on, straight up told me, "You can count on me, Gina." And what happened? He LIED. What a sly, little snake. How dare him, honestly. How dare he have the nerve to come to me and ask if he can count on MY vote!? But you see .. I have class. I won't treat him the way HE treated me. I told him that I wasn't going to commit to keeping him, because I myself was not sure how I was voting. The best part was that he tried to justify it. I don't give a bollocks about him keeping Boogie in general .. I care that he lied to my face and said I could count on him. I forgive .. but I don't forget. He'll learn that lesson at eviction.
Gina's decision now seemed set towards keeping Helen, and the division in the house between Gina, Helen, Elissa & Ivette, and Chima, Eric, Sam & Will was becoming clearer.
Gina: I think Chima was banking on me evicting you this week.
Helen: Oh, really?
Gina: Becausee she told Sam it depended on what I would do. And that would decide if she saved him and evicted you. Last week, she was telling me how even though I wanted Janelle out, you were trying to evict Will instead. Trying to cause some trouble between us. It's basically us four against those three.
~Gina Rio~
What this vote comes down to for me, is this. Helen's a threat. It would be good to take her out of the game, which would weaken Elissa since Elissa lacks any sort of social game. However, the bad side to that? Helen and Elissa are potentially on my side in the house division, which means they should be kept. I don't know about you, but I think I know who I'm keeping.
With little chance of Gina evicting Helen, all hope seemed to be lost for Sam. But after chatting with Elissa on the backyard couches, it seems like help may come from an unexpected place.
Sam: Hi, Elissa!
Elissa: Hey, Sam! How are you?
Sam: I'm good, what about you?
Elissa: Alright, cut the bullshit. Why are you guys campaigning to Gina but not me? I'm offended.
Sam: Okay first of all, it's not bullshit, I always ask everyone how their day's going...
Elissa: No, it's definitely bullshit.
Sam: I didn't campaign to you because you were Helen's original partner, and you were kinda gunning for me weeks ago.
Elissa: You guys should have asked me. I don't even care about Helen. She's not my partner anymore and I'm glad.
Sam: Listen, I know we didn't start in the right direction especially after that Nick vote weeks ago, but I'm all about making amends.
Elissa: Clearly not since your foursome didn't even bother to recruit me. It's whatever.
Sam: There's no foursome as far as I'm concerned. Yes I have people's back but I don't have an alliance or deal with anyone.
Elissa: Don't treat me like I'm stupid. I know about you, Will and Chimeric. Helen leaves tonight and then I win HoH and nominate two of your group. No harm, no foul.
Sam: Look, I hope I have your vote to stay, cause I know you can't stand Helen and she hates you too.
Elissa: Yep.
~Sam Wallace~
Did I just get Elissa's vote to stay?
So I tried to have a convo with her, which led to her "cutting the BS, being upset I didn't campaign to her, and other stuff."
Sam reports his strange conversation back to Eric, who decides to have a chat with Elissa and see if there's any chance she might really vote to keep Sam.
Eric: How are you?
Elissa: Horrible.
Eric: Why?
Elissa: Because.
Eric: Because why...?
Elissa: It's personal.
Eric: Oh, okay... How are you feeling about the vote? Sam tells me one thing but Helen and you are close, so I don't really know what to think.
Elissa: Well, I'm offended no one asked me to vote for Helen. I know you guys asked Gina.
Eric: I asked Gina what she's doing. I told her more or less whatever happens I'm voting with Gina. So bottom line, what do YOU want to happen this round?
Elissa: Helen needs to go.
Eric: Why...? You were her original partner? Shouldn't you be fighting for her to stay?
Elissa: I hate her. We're not together anymore. I need to pick a side and I may as well pick the winning side.
Eric: I don't even know what Gina is doing though, what makes you so sure that we'd be winning?
Elissa: I know about your foursome with Sam and Will.
Eric: We literally never came to that conclusion, though...
Elissa: Bullshit me again and Sam leaves. Do not play games with me, Eric.
~Eric Stein~
[Chima’s Partner]
Elissa is acting crazy towards me and I find it weird as hell. I have not done anything to give her off a "crazy" interpretation, but she has definitely come off as crazy.
Elissa: I'm not a fucking idiot, Eric. I know about your alliance. Deny it to me one more fucking time...
Eric: Clearly you are a "fucking idiot." My alliance is Chima, and Will if you want to make us in an alliance. You clearly are mistaken OR someone is dumb enough to think I actually scheme in this house.
Elissa: That's what I fucking asked you, you fucking idiot.
Eric: You didn't ask me shit.
Elissa: Whateverrrr. Later.
Eric: I don't understand your angle.
Elissa: Do not try to understand.
Eric: I don't think a doctor could.
Elissa: Call me crazy one more god damn time.
Eric: If the shoe fits...
Elissa: I will destroy everything you love. You will watch as I take out all your allies, AND THEN I WILL EVICT YOU!
Eric: Oh my God Elissa, you seriously are crazy. This is a game, I came to you asking you what you were going to do because you obviously felt left out. Feel proud of yourself that I assumed you were loyal and wouldn't vote to evict Helen. I thought you were a good friend to her, but I clearly was wrong if you were contemplating otherwise.
Elissa: Guess what? I wasn't. I was lying. I was always evicting Sam.
Eric: And that's what I thought, which is why I felt it was fit to talk to you.
Elissa: I will destroy you.
~Elissa Slater~
I've decided Eric and I are now mortal enemies and I will torture him as I make him watch me evict every single one of his allies and then evict him. He is scum of the earth and now I will end him. He thought he could lie to me and cover up his alliance with Sam, Chima, and Will? Think again fucker, I will catch you. Your life in the game is over. Thanks to me. Fuck off.
Helen needs to stay for a little while longer until she's outlived her usefulness. I need her to make sure we can get the four fuckers out of the house.
It's time for the eviction. With it now clear that neither Elissa nor Gina will be voting to evict Helen, Chima and Eric have no choice but to vote with the rest of the house.
Ryan: Big Brother house, this is Ryan! You are live on BBCharm! The house has decided. The votes have been counted and verified, and I can now reveal... that by a vote of 4-0... the seventh person to be evicted from the BBCharm house and the second member of the jury is... SAM! Sam, it's now time to say your goodbyes. I'm coming to get you!
Sam: Take care you guys, kill the competition! *Hugs* No hard feelings!
Sam picks up his bag and leaves the house, ready to join Janelle in the jury house. Only seven housemates remain... and little did they know that their numbers would soon be reduced to five! Next week is a double eviction week! Which two housemates will be leaving the house on the same night? Only time will tell!
